Washington OSPI High School Directory Info for Higher Education

CVSD HS Families:

This message is to let you know about the release of student directory information. A new WA State Law RCW 28A.150.515 and RCW 28B.10.041 created requirements for school districts to share high school student directory information with the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). Through this contact information, Washington’s Student Achievement Council and institutions of higher education can communicate with students and families to increase awareness about college and financial aid opportunities available in the state.

Should you want to opt out of providing this contact information to OSPI for the purpose of communicating college opportunities, please use our opt-out form by October 30: www.cvsd.org/optout (NOTE: this is our annual opt-out form and if you have already filled it out for other items, you may use the “Next” button at the bottom of each question in order to opt out from this specific item.) Once submitted, your student's and associated guardian information will be excluded from the OSPI directory.

We take your privacy and the protection of your student’s information very seriously and appreciate your attention to this.
