PowerSchool

Students and parents may access PowerSchool accounts to check grades, see schedules, attendance, and much more!

Accounts can be used on a website (link below) or via the PowerSchool app. 
 
Parents need to create an account - to which they can link all their students so all information is available in one place.
If a student is registered in CVSD, they already have a PowerSchool account.

Create a new PowerSchool Parent account, link your students, and connect to the mobile app.
  1. You will need a STUDENT ID number and birth date. Secondary students use their student ID for computer login at school. Older elementary students may also know their ID. For younger students, you may contact your school for the ID. Your Student ID will also be on your student information form that will come home the first day of school.
  2. In a web browser or mobile device, browse to cvsd.powerschool.com and select the option Create Account.
  3. Next fill in all the required fields under Create Parent Account to initiate your setup. Your username will be used to log into the parent portal and your email will be used to recover a lost password.
  4. Additionally, if you scroll down further on the Create Account page, you can link your students to your account upon creation.
  5. Upon completing your account creation and linking your kids, you will be presented with a "congratulations
    message."
  6. Consider getting the PowerSchool App. After creating your account, download the mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to link your kids to your mobile device. You will be prompted to provide a district code: ZBK.  Use your newly created username and password to authenticate and use the mobile app for CVSD.

How to access your PowerSchool Student account and connect to the mobile app.
  1. In a web browser or mobile device, browse to cvsd.powerschool.com and fill in the username and password
    with the below information.
    Username: Student ID#  (check with your school office if you do not know your school ID#).
    Password: Birthdate (Including zeros)
  2. Consider getting the PowerSchool App. Download the mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to link your kids to your mobile device. You will be prompted to provide a district code: ZBK.  Use your newly created username and password to authenticate and use the mobile app for CVSD.
