Career and Technical Education (CTE) transforms traditional learning into dynamic, hands-on experiences. By connecting academic concepts to real-world applications, CTE prepares students to thrive in high-demand careers or pursue further education with confidence.

Explore & Graduate with a  High Demand Career Pathway

CTE programs open doors to exciting fields such as healthcare, technology, skilled trades, and business. Students gain valuable skills, industry certifications, and practical knowledge designed to meet workforce needs. This pathway is designed for CTE students who are focusing their high school experience on courses that are aligned to a career pathway goal and a postsecondary plan. This includes a planned sequence of CTE courses with career connected experiences. Students develop high academic, leadership and career skills through these courses. They are able to leave high school prepared for their next steps.

  • Students take a minimum of 2.0 high school credits in CTE courses that are in the same Program Area and reflect an occupational alignment.
  • At least one of those courses needs to be preparatory with opportunities to earn an Industry Recognized certification or Dual Credit with a partner post-secondary school.
