Harvest of the Month
What is "Harvest of the Month" and why is "Farm to School" important?
Each month, we purchase fresh produce from local farms to serve to our students at lunch. Many of the fruits and veggies offered are unfamiliar to students. We take pride in giving students the opportunity to try something new and create excitement about eating fruits and veggies! Each month look for information on the featured Harvest of the Month item including nutrition, fun facts and the farmer that grew it.
