The first day of school for grades 1-12 on Thursday, September 5, 2024 is a "regular start" day*. Some schools have parent meetings on this day. Look for specific details from your school.
- Central Valley Virtual Learning (CVVL) K-8, Spokane Valley Learning Academy (SVLA) K-8, Mica Peak High School and School to Life are on a different schedule to start later, following parent meetings.
Kindergarten and CV Early Learning Center Preschool start Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
- Kinder Family Conferences: Kinder family conferences align with the first four days of school and include parent/teacher meetings, school orientation, important assessments and more.
*Late start collaboration does not start until Thursday, September 12.

- Thursday Late Start (beginning Sept 12): 9:57am
- Conference Week Early Release: 12:30pm
- Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Middle Schools
- AM Start: 8:10am
- PM Dismissal: 2:40pm
- Thursday Late Start (beginning Sept 12): 9:10am
- Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 3:30pm
High Schools
- AM Start: 7:45am
- PM Dismissal: 2:15pm
- Thursday Late Start (beginning Sept 12): 8:15am
- Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 3:00pm
