High School Math Instructional Materials Review

The high school math (Algebra I, II & Geometry) instructional materials review process will provide a recommendation of new core instructional materials for grades 9-11 students and instructors to be adopted for the 2026-2027 school year.

The primary objective in selecting instructional materials is to implement, enrich and support the school’s education program. All core instructional materials will be selected in conformance with applicable state and federal laws, learning standards of the district, and state procedures, established by the Instructional Materials Committee.

Our parents and community stakeholders will have an opportunity to be involved in this process.

One way to get involved is to be part of our Instructional Materials Review Committee. If you are interested and can commit up to five full days during the 2024-2025 school year, beginning in January and 5-6 days during the 2025-2026 school year, please apply today at ww.CVSD.org/HSMathCommitteeApp.

In spring of 2026, we will host a Community Preview Night so parents and community members can provide feedback to the committee, prior to a recommendation being made to the Instructional Materials Committee and subsequently the School Board.

Please complete and submit the application by Friday, November 22, 2024.
